Our test measures reaction time using mousedown functionality:

  • Triggers immediately on button press, unlike click, which waits for release.
  • Captures faster, more precise reaction times.
  • Reduces delays caused by holding the button down.
  • Standard in professional-grade reflex measurement tools.
  • Updated: The delay before the box color change is extra random now for better testing. It varies between 700 ms and 4000 ms.

The test is intuitive and easy to use. Just press Start Test button – the click box turns red. Once it turns from red to green, click/tap it.  Other specs include:

  • Tracks and displays the last 10 reaction times in a bar chart so you could easily share them with friends.
